The Railroad House provides the place...
. . . You create the Memories!
At the Railroad House Bed & Breakfast, we enjoy sharing Birthdays, Anniversaries,
Family Reunions, Girl Get-a-ways, Golf Buddy Stays, and just relaxing!
We do not need a special event to be happy or celebrate.
Actually, any occasion, any day is a special when shared with our guests.
The Railroad House Bed & Breakfast makes it a practice to use as many MADE IN OKLAHOMA
or made by Oklahomans products as possible:
One of our newer shops in town is “Simply Oklahoma” on Division.
This is a haven for the Oklahoma Artist. When you visit, Guthrie be sure to stop and say “Hello”
Or visit website http://www.soartgallery.com/
They have a full program of artist and events of their own.
Your home cooked breakfast is prepared with these Oklahoma made products
Neighbors Coffee, Oklahoma City, OK
Braum’s, Tuttle, OK
Griffins, Muscogee, OK
J.C. Potter, Durant, OK
Broome’s Fried Pies, soon to be announcing new location
We have at the Railroad House
OU and OSU purses made to order.
I am excited about these items.
They are made by a Native America Oklahoman
We are always thinking beyond the current month and keeping you informed.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN GUTHRIE this month
Attention: Quitters
We would like to offer space for you to display and share your creations at the Railroad House.
The Apples and Quilts Festival has been cancelled for 2010. The group responsible, in the past, for making this Festival happen has done a wonderful job. There have been however too few to help put the event together. We will see what 2011 brings for the citywide event.
Oh, I am feeling an idea developing. We can just have a “Quilters Day” here at the Railroad House. We can invite friends to come by on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
I will provide the space, some light refreshments and you provide your creations.
We can enjoy a spring or fall event of our own making.
(NOTE: August 24, 2010 I am going to plan something for the spring 2011. Therefore, you have time to make something new to share or gather Grandma’s creation. That is my only choice this year.)
This feels like a real possibility! I will keep you posted. We can have a Scrape Bookers Day too! We have had family groups come for a Scrape Book Stay. The possibilities are just exploding!
My all time favorite thing is to participate in the “Do Nothing Days” !
Follow this link to our Guthrie Shopping guide. There is a map of our Historic Downtown

This 2011 event is the 11th that Sealed with a Kiss has presented.
Think about a Mothers Day gift for yourself or you and your Mum, or that good friend!
Yes, men do attend this event. They do not necessarily eat QUICHE but they are real men.
The 2011 weekend features Fiona Ellis, Franklin Harit, and Jane Thornely.
Each year is a one of a kind experience. Let Keely know you want to stay with us.
We will pamper you too!

LUCKY STIFF
October 01, 2010 - October 30, 2010
Book and Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Music by Stephen Flaherty
Unassuming English shoe salesman, Harry Witherspoon, is forced to take the embalmed body of his recently murdered Atlantic City uncle on a vacation to Monte Carlo. Should he succeed in passing Uncle off as alive, Harry Witherspoon stands to inherit $6,000,000. If not, the money goes to the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn, or else to the gun-toting wife of the casino owner! Called "A delicious, zany throwback” by the New York Post, Lucky Stiff is a classic musical farce, complete with slamming doors, mistaken identities, six million bucks in diamonds, and a corpse in a wheelchair.
